Amro El-sinawi, DMD

 General Dentist

Dr. Amro El- sinawi, DMD, joined Harris Dental Associates in the summer of 2022. The Harris Dental team and patients affectionately call him Dr. Amro. He graduated from Boston University and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Additionally, he is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Growing up, Dr. Amro knew he wanted to be in the health field. But he did not know precisely what profession he wanted to end up in, so he shadowed different fields. He enjoyed the hands-on aspect of being a dentist and decided to sign up for a competition to carve wax into a tooth. He was the first to finish and win the competition, thus, reinforcing his decision to pursue dentistry.

“People always want to be good at what they do; chances are if you are good at something,

you will enjoy it.”

Interacting with patients and listening to patients’ stories is a part of dentistry he enjoys. Dr. Amro says, “Everyone has something exciting or knowledgeable to share. You can learn something even from the grumpiest person.”

During Dr. Amro’s free time, he enjoys going to the gym. His philosophy is that no matter how bad his day is, if he goes to the gym, then at least the day is productive.
